SKED supports set-based scoring for volleyball out of the box. Administrators enter scores set by set directly in SKED. The system calculates the match result and ranking points automatically based on the points template selected for the grade.

Five volleyball-specific points templates are available:

• Volleyball - 3 sets: First to win 2
• Volleyball - 3 sets: Play all sets
• Volleyball - 5 sets: First to win 3
• Beach Volleyball - 3 sets: First to win 2
• Beach Volleyball - 3 sets: Play all sets

Each template has the correct default scores pre-set for forfeited fixtures (for example, 25-0, 25-0 for a 3-set indoor forfeit). Full set scores are displayed in the public draws and results widget - clicking through on a result shows the score for every set. Set results also appear in PDF and CSV exports from SKED.

When a volleyball points template is selected for a grade, SKED automatically switches to a volleyball-specific standings table. It displays:

• Matches Played
• Matches Won
• Ranking Points
• Sets For
• Sets Against
• Set Ratio
• Points For
• Points Against
• Points Ratio

The table updates automatically whenever a result is entered. Tiebreakers are applied in the correct order - Matches Won first, then Ranking Points, then Set Ratio, then Points Ratio. The standings display differently depending on where you're viewing them: the full table appears in SKED and the desktop widget, while the mobile widget shows a condensed view (W, L, Ranking Points, Set Ratio, Points Ratio) suited to smaller screens. SKED can generate pre-filled FIVB scorecards for your fixtures with one click. Filter your draws to the fixtures you want - by grade, date, venue, or any combination - then click the Scorecards button. A PDF is generated automatically for each fixture in your selection, formatted to fit one page in landscape.

Each scorecard is pre-populated with:

• Competition name, date, time, location, and venue
• Grade and section name
• Team 1 and Team 2 names
• Referee 1 and Referee 2 (if assigned; otherwise the duty team name is used)
• Duty team (scorer)
• Player names and jersey numbers for each team
• Captain and libero designations
• Team officials: coach, assistant coach, manager, trainer, and medical person
• Space for coach signatures

Player jersey numbers and captaincy are pulled directly from each player's volleyball registration record. For junior or social grades, SKED can also generate scorecard stickers (98 x 25.4mm labels) to affix to basic scoresheets instead.

SKED can assign duty teams to every fixture in a competition phase automatically. Once your draw is generated and published to the calendar, click the Duty Teams link at the top of the Officials column in Draws & Results and confirm. SKED distributes duty teams across all fixtures according to the following rules:

• Each team receives an equal number of duty allocations
• A team is never assigned duty for a fixture at the same time as their own game, or immediately before it
• Teams are assigned duty for fixtures immediately after their own game where possible
• Teams duty for fixtures in their own grade first, then lower grades
• Teams are never assigned duty for a higher-graded fixture

Duty teams are visible to the public in the draws and results widget, including when a team filters the draw by their own organisation. They also appear in export files for officials. Individual duty team assignments can be manually adjusted after automatic assignment if needed.

Volleyball registrations on the Sporty platform include a number field. This field only appears for registrants with the Player role. Players can enter their own number when completing the registration form, or you can set the field to admin-only and manage numbers centrally.

Player numbers appear in TeamBuilder against each player's record and flow through automatically to SKED scorecard exports. You can also lock jersey numbers at the grade level to prevent them being changed in the scoring app during a competition - useful for competitions where a player's number must stay consistent throughout.
